1. When will I receive my order? As soon as receipt of your payment has been received it takes our team up to 48 hours to process your order and get it under way. Most of the time your order will be dispatched shortly after (1-3 Business Days). If you’re based in Australia you will receive your order within 7-12 Business Days*, or if you’ve purchased from overseas, allowing for international processing bumps this up to 15+ Business Days. In the vary rare case something funky happens as a result of our shipping carrier (Australia Post) we’ll do our best to let you know as soon as we know (or please, let us know!) and we’ll chase it down as fast as we can.
2. Shipping times: *Currently 1-4 Weeks from point of order until updated* However, shipping times vary on country of delivery. All deliveries will take slightly longer to deliver due to remaining COVID-19 limitations on national and international delivery times *. 3. Currency: All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless specified otherwise. As Pink Octopus Books ships globally, you’ll find your country specific currency at check out courtesy of PayPal, our primary choice of payments to guarantee buyer protection world-wide.
4. Don’t have a PayPal account? It’s free to join, however if you’d prefer to use another payment method, we also accept standard payment methods (i.e. Visa and MasterCard) via our integration with Stripe as well as Apple Pay.
5. Taxes: All taxes applicable for your country of origin and/or custom fees are the responsibility of the customer. For Australian customers, GST is inclusive in all prices. For International customers, all prices exclude any applicable duty and/or import taxes and/or fees, including but not limited to, custom fees and/or applicable taxes that the customer is responsible for and acknowledges when placing an order.
6. Shipping cost: For Australian customers, we offer FREE shipping and for international customers this varies from $7.99 through to $24.99 as we follow Australia Post’s shipping charges. We understand these rates are rather high, so we’ve teamed up with Amazon to ship our books to you as fast as possible, and for international customers (located outside of Australia), your shipping charges will often be lower if you place your order directly through Amazon. Whilst we’d love you to order through us, we think it’s important to give our customers the best options. Simply look for The Power of Another Woman and please remember to leave a review once you’ve finished!
7. Shipping Carrier: We use Australia Post and Amazon for domestic and international orders and all of our Flat Rates are set by these couriers. We understand that these are a little high, so we’ve done our best to keep them as low as possible and hope to bring these down over time. Depending on the quickest & postage method selected, most often orders will be shipped directly from Amazon on behalf of Pink Octopus Books to keep these rates low and to avoid any additional shipping surcharges. Currently, express or expedited shipping is not available.
8. Order updates: Once receipt has been received, all orders are processed within 24 hours to ensure there’s limited impact on current delivery times, however as we use Australia Post and Amazon, this is dependent on their timeframes (please read above). Tracking numbers will be sent for eligible orders. If you’d like to ask about your delivery, please fill out the Contact form and we’ll reply within 48 hours.
9. Account: All orders and download access are under your account. If you opt not to create an account during checkout, we’ll create one for you and you’ll receive access within 48 hours.
10. I didn’t receive a Tracking Number? Not all orders will be sent with a Tracking Number but rest assured, the Team keeps track of all orders. If your order hasn’t arrived within the expected time frame or if you’d like an update on your order, please Contact Us.
11. Custom fees (again): For orders outside Australia, any additional fees associated with delivery, including Taxes and Custom fees, are the buyers responsibility and will be charged accordingly.
12. Invoices and Payments: All payments will be under the name AM8 International. As Pink Octopus Books is the fictional imprint of AM8 International, you’ll see this on your invoices and payment receipts.
